DATA TRANSLATION

To get structures into the data format that the matching programs understand there is a pipeline of programs to translate pdb files. Some of the necessary software (dssp) is external to the TOPS project, and some (tops) is provided at the leeds site. This is a diagram of the pipeline:

Note that not all platforms are supported. UNIX-like OS users are likely to be happiest. Tops executables for OSX are available by request.
